Job Title: Health, Safety & Compliance Officer
Reports To: Project HSE Manager / Camp Manager
Work Locations: Kyaka, Muleba, Nzega, Igunga
Number of Positions: 2

Job Purpose:

To ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards and promote a safe
working environment across all camps.

Key Duties and Accountabilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits at all camps.
• Train staff on occupational health and safety practices.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and take corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports with recommendations.
• Maintain HSE records and prepare compliance reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• NEBOSH/OSHA certification is an added advantage.
• At least 2–3 years’ experience in health and safety roles.

Core Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations.
• Ability to train and influence teams on safety practices.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
