Job Purpose:

To prepare high-quality meals for camp staff in accordance with health, safety, and hygiene
standards.

Key Duties and Accountabilities

  • Plan menus based on nutritional requirements and budget.
  • Prepare and cook meals for staff daily.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Ensure proper storage of food supplies.
  • Monitor inventory and request stock replenishment.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and avoid wastage.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a chef in camps or hospitality settings.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Core Competencies:

  • Creativity in menu planning.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
